Our senior class set out to redesign Union Station not just to accommodate the coming high-speed rail, but to change the way people of LA think about traveling through the station and using the train.
Our vision of the New Union Station is open, clean, and green. It is not just a place to “get stuck” or ” kill time”. Our vision of the new station is a destination in and of itself. Ample seating, places to relax, and an environment that takes advantage of our fantastic climate.

Great stuff. I like how you guys focused on how visitors will experience the station. The thoughtful details and ease of use should attract new people encourage repeated use.
Very nice presentation to cover a lot of information on what it could be like inside and outside the trains, platform, station and annex: clean, simple, understandable. I would have loved to see how your station relates to the larger area because you are absolutely right, you took advantage of the local climate with your station design. I felt like your ideas were focused on the immediate station and you made me really curious about what you could come up with to revitalize that area. I was disappointed when the video ended.
This is great work. Really interesting how one class got together to create one project. The overall video work is amazing. I wonder how they did that. I also like how all the elements tie together so nicely.

Nice! The video made me want to see more and experience it all in real life. There were some really attractive designs! I like the use of materials, and the overall plan.
