Featuring Ideas for Los Angeles
This Idea Box exhibit is a multimedia experience showcasing concepts, ideas, and musings from around the world on the future of Los Angeles, a future beyond just cars. Opening on July 29, the exhibit will run through the month of August in the Jewel Box at City National Plaza (525 S. Flower Street).
Opening Event
On Thursday, July 29, the exhibition LA Beyond Cars will open with a special event from 6:00pm-10:00pm and you are welcome to attend. There will be food by Drago Centro, cash bar, and live music to celebrate the future of our high-speed City. Our sponsors, invited guests and media are welcome for a preview of the exhibition and guided tour starting at 5:00pm.

Submit your ideas by July 13
The railLA Call for Ideas is ongoing and you are encouraged to submit your images, movies, text, models, and other ideas to us for inclusion in future exhibitions. For more information on how to submit your ideas, click here. We want to know how you envision the future of our cities with high-speed rail. We have currently received submissions from offices and individuals around the globe and continue to receive exciting entries which will also be featured on our website in an online gallery (August 2010). A few select entries will be featured in an article by the Architect’s Newspaper.
